Our Doctors
Dr. Curt Garner
Practice Owner
Dr. Curt Garner was raised in Augusta and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from The University of Georgia in 1998. He has worked almost exclusively in small animal medicine since that time.
He founded St. Francis Animal Hospital in 2003 and became the sole owner in the Spring of 2014. He enjoys handling difficult skin cases, advanced dental disease and surgery, and managing hormonal imbalances of both dogs and cats. Pain and arthritis control is also another area he aggressively manages.
Dr. Garner believes strongly in strengthening the human animal bond and practicing medicine with integrity. He tries to think outside the box and mix traditional medicine with dietary management and home remedies to achieve his goals. He firmly believes a good dose of daily humor is essential for improving the lives of both his patients and their less furry roommates

Veterinary Specialist Services
Dr. Holly Landes
DVM
Dr. Holly Landes is a 2005 graduate of Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She entered the United States Army Veterinary Corps after graduating veterinary school and was stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia and Fort Hood, Texas where she completed a 15-month tour in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
She returned to the Augusta area in 2009 and rejoined the Fort Gordon Veterinary Clinic team as a civilian. While practicing medicine, she became frustrated by many conditions that she could not understand or help with western medicine.
She decided to expand her knowledge to include chiropractic care for animals, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She attended the Options for Animals College of Veterinary Chiropractic in Wellsville, Kansas where she received certification in Veterinary Chiropractic by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association in February 2014. She also began acupuncture training at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Reddick, Florida in July 2013.
She recognized the need for a mobile practice to provide wellness care for pets, as well as bring the powerful modalities of chiropractic manipulation and acupuncture to our area. Her goal is to offer flexible hours, valuable care, and a low stress environment for animals and their human caretakers.
